Johanna from 18th Century Blog has recently returned from Versailles and has posted some amazing pictures of the Court Pomp & Royal Ceremony on her blog. Wow that gown is insane. They must have had to widen many-a-doorway to accomodate the ladies during that period.
Wow. That gown is incredible. I guess the hippie look was in then, huh? Too bad big hips aren't exactly fashionable today!
