We ate, we drank a little champagne, we played croquet and bocce ball. It was a wonderful afternoon. And, as luck would have it, the rain waiting until we returned home. Here are the pictures from our little “trip” in the past. Enjoy!
I was not the best at croquet. Tee Hee. Have a great week everyone :-)
7 Witty Sentiments:
I LOVE your hat! I wish they were in now-a-days. Did you use hair rats for your hair?
I am once again delighted and stunned by your sewing ability, your beauty, your grace, elegance and ladylike posture (you carry off the look so well!) and your hair. YOU ARE AMAZING!
If I were rich I'd fly out to Portland and go with you to something like this. It looks positively delightful and the perfect "vacation" from modern life.
What a beautiful costume! You look stunning! How I wish that I lived closer so that I could attend the same events. Your work is truly inspiring!
I love your chemise a la reine, and I am so envious that you can be outside and picnicing at this time of year! I must go buy myself some chocolate as a bastille day celebration to make me feel better. That, or start a new Robe a la Francaise!
What fun! You look gorgeous! The feather is the perfect touch!
You look like a painting come to life! How fun to dress up and have day in history come to life!!
Oh the hair is looking GREAT! What a fabulous event - I always forget about Bastille Day :-( Will have to remember for next year!
The chemise and hat, gaw, all of it is perfect!
