We were quite fortunate to have two events this weekend. Our first was the one in the previous post and our second was a combined event between Le Bon Ton and the Oregon Regency society. We had a wonderful stroll through the Portland Japanese Gardens. What a lovely, serene, and fun walk that was. The gardens are beautifully manicured and there are so many little treasures hidden throughout the place. We also made quite the spectacle of ourselves. There were numerous professional photographers wandering around and many of them took lots of pictures of us. We kind of felt like celebrities for the day. It was a blast. Without further adieu, here are the pictures….
Angel and me on the footbridge.
You know who…
Angel and me…. Our husbands keep teasing us about our similar attire.
M’Lord in is new period glasses…
Brad and Aaron “fighting” on the Bridge. I think the parasol just might win. Tee Hee…
Tara and Xian at the rock gardens.
More Tara and Xian
The whole gang…
And finally, Angel and me “imitating rocks” in front of the rock garden. LOL!
Have a wonderful week everyone. God Bless!!!
Love Lauren

So fun!!! Love the bridge the boys are fighting on...very pretty!
Really lovley pics! You're so gorgeous!
If I may ask, which era did you enjoy most time traveling to this weekend - the WWII or Regency?
And in which era did / do you feel most comfortable in?
Just wondering...
*Historical Ken*- You certainly may ask. That is a great question. I really love the late 18th century the best. I feel most comfortable in the 18th century for sure. I did, however, enjoy trying WWII. We will probably keep trying more WWII events.
What beautiful pictures! I love the last one, so pretty! Your group looks fantastic and is that a little boy sitting on the steps too? What a great weekend you must have had!

You look absolutely period! (Angel and Aaron, too) As always like if you had jumped out of the "gallerie of fashion" ;)
We used to live in Corvallis and I only made it to the Japanese Gardens once and it was amazing! What beauty! I was thinking how perfectly wonderful it would have been to stroll the gardens in such fabulous clothing. You look amazing and I can only imagine what a splendid day you had.
