I decided along with my reticule I needed another fan. I was never completely happy with the first one. So, I started a new one today. It’s made of silk and painted with gauche. I plan to mount it on painted bamboo sticks, that are currently drying. Here’s a pic of the leaf :-)

Did you use regular gauche or did you mix it with some medium before you painted?
It's just guache and water, of course. The gold is a gold pen.
