Bastille Day Picnic

This afternoon we donned our Regency frocks and headed out to West Linn for a celebration of the French Revolution. It was a lovely afternoon filled with lounging on the grass, yummy food, and sinlge stick sword fighting. here are our pictures from the event.

Oh Lauren!!!! I know I've said this before, but there is no other way to say it. You guys really are the perfect regency couple. You have such a beautiful, period, regency look. I love your new robe. What is the significance of your cockade? It looks like a lovely time!

We are back online after my dad helped me breathe some life back into this old computer. :) Have missed you!!

Hi Lauren. My name is also Lauren, and I found your blog today while searching out people who have made 1795 Open Robes. I have to tell you I LOVE your blog, and all the awesome things you do. I'm a costumer in the Bay Area, and a friend and I have planned our first costume picnic at a local historic house. Looking at the pics of your picnics is great, like a little taste of how lovely ours down here might be! Keep up the amazing costuming, dogs, and garden stuff.
