1796-1806 Lewis & Clark Era Front Closing Gown Progress

Finished with one project and on to the next :) I’m finally feeling like I’m getting my sewing mojo back. Anyway, I have had a beautiful piece of chintz and the Lewis and Clark round pattern sitting in my stash since the Fair of New Boston, last year. I finally decided it was time to us them. Here are the pics so far.

The pattern.

The chintz! I purchased it from WM Booth Draper.

The front of the bodice.

The back of the bodice. I LOVE the triangular shapes and the top stitching.

Here’s a close up of the bodice back.

I should have it finished in the next few days and hopefully have some new pics too.

God Bless!

Love Lauren

It looks fantastic!
I got this pattern last year and even the fabric to make it, but it's just been sitting since then. I'm excited to see how yours turns out :)
That fabric is gorgeous!
