Settling into New Routines...

That pretty much sums life up right now. We are finally settling into the routine of having both of us working full time. It's very new, and for the first time in our marriage neither of us is in school, whooot! Things have been quiet and calm and we have been truly enjoying Aaron's career. He loves every minute of it, and I'm so thankful to not be the sole provider. God has truly blessed us.

We had a reenacting event last weekend, although pictures were not allowed, so I have only a few. We joined up with the Oregon City Historical Society for their annual Spirit's Tour. It's a living history event that is more like a mobile theater. You are carted around to the various historical sites around Oregon City where actors portray scenes from the settles who founded it. It was lovely and great fun. Our guide even put our group on the spot asking us where we were from and we quickly donned the personas and accents and told our stories.

On Sunday, Aaron and I celebrated our dear friends' baby's first birthday. Little James is a year old and it's so fun to watch this little man grow. Each time we see him, he has learned something new. Well, tomorrow we are antiquing in our Dieslepunk gear, so I should have some more pictures then. God Bless!!!

Glad things are going well on the career front! We have had lots of changes with that in the last month too. I love the print on your dress and what a cute baby!

I know you said you deleted it, but I thought I'd come by and rubberneck anyway. ::teehee:: That last picture of you is VERY nice, Lauren. I don't see you with eye-makeup very often but it works for you lady. Aaron's picture looks a bit scary. :^0
