1795 Open Robe

The first one is finished. I basically made a dress without a front skirt. Here are a couple of pictures, they’re not the best, but they’ll have to do :-)

As for the sewing front, I sliced a nice little chunk out of my left index finger last night while chopping basil. So sewing is on hold for a little while until it heals up.  Instead, I’m going to start on my mini Lady D hairpiece. :-) God Bless and have a great week everyone!

Very cute! I cant believe how quickly you are sewing these days!

I hope your finger heals soon - there must be something in the costuming air, because I slipped and sliced my thumb open on a can.

Lovely! Absolutely lovely! Just so you know we are not going to be at the Winter Ball this year. I think we are going to make our annual regency "show" every June at the Lavendar Tea House in Sherwood. Have a ball!!

Gorgeous! So it is the same pattern as your dress but no skirt? It is lovely and I too love the fabric!

Hope your finger heals soon. Cuts are horrid. :( I haven't cut myself lately but have three finger-fulls of needle holes from making over 70 buttonholes the past week or so. . .

Can't wait to see you in it! Good luck on your hairpiece!

again, I drool over the fabric. And do I spy a hubby's leg peeking out from behind the mannequin? heehee! Hope the finger is better soon.
